• Jacorra Ashante Jones made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Scott Alan Schuler made an initial appearance on two counts of a going armed with intent charge and two counts of a domestic abuse assault with weapon charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 27. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Elizabeth Ann Johnson made an initial appearance on a drug distribution violation to a person under 18 charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Prince Jallah made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 10 in Magistrate Court.

• Brandon Gallardo made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge, a striking unattended vehicle charge and a driving under suspension charge. Gallardo pleaded guilty to all charges. On the no insurance charge the fine is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $796.75. The fine on the striking unattended vehicle is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Jean Therese Hopkins made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 17 in Magistrate Court.

• Alan James Kuuttila made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 5.

• Lougan Flores De Leon made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing. Next court date will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Jose Antonio Ordaz made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is waived. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
