• Buffy Dena Roberts made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 15. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jodi Marie Garcia made an initial appearance on two counts of a theft-third degree charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 10.

• Adelfio Fredrick Lamonto failed to make an initial appearance on a speeding charge, a driving under suspension charge and a driving while barred charge. The court found him guilty on the speeding and driving under suspension charges. The fine for speeding is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. A warrant was issued for the driving while barred charge.

• Alonso Puente Flores made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 10.

• Daniel Joseph Brafford made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 10.

• David Lorenzo Peppers made an initial appearance on a consumption of alcohol in a public place-first offense charge. Peppers pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Yolanda Fernandez Mendoza failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Rickey Dustin Hawkins Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 10.

• Michael Timothy Bruns failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• On Saturday, April 20, Rosie Youngbear, 25, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, April 20, Phylicia Quincy, 33, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, April 19, Patrick Charles Jr., 39, was arrested for child endangerment-substantial risk, intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a domestic abuse offender, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and intent to deliver marijuana.

• On Friday, April 19, Robert Junck, 36, was arrested for theft-fourth degree-shoplifting.

• On Saturday, April 20, Nathan Jones, 42, was arrested for three counts of driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, use of electronic communication device, no valid driver’s license, operating while under the influence-second offense and operation without ignition interlock device.

• On Saturday, April 20, Ilias Lasley, 29, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of murder-first degree.

• On Friday, April 19, John Lang, 55, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and speeding.
