• Justin Ryan Patton made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge and an interference with official acts charge. Scott Hunter is appointed as counsel on the parole violation. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. A pre-trial conference on the interference charge is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 26 in Magistrate Court. Patton is being held without bond.

• Phoebe Blanche Kapayou made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-display/use of weapon charge and a domestic abuse assault-second offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 17. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Lizette Rios made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 24. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Daniel Charles Knapp made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court.
