• Luis Eduardo Lopez failed to appear on a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge, a leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a leaving the scene of an accident-failure to provide aide or information charge. The court found Lopez guilty. The fines on the failure to obey a stop sign and the leaving the scene-property damage are $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25 for each charge. The fine on the no insurance is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $796.75. The fine on leaving the scene of an accident-failure to provide aide or information is $855 with a $128.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $1,043.25.

• Alannah Maya Perez made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jerome McDowell Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Christopher William McClain made an initial appearance on an assault while displaying a dangerous weapon charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Carlos Jara Cruz made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Cruz pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Edward Patrick Kline made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 26 in Magistrate Court.
