• Omar Carrillo made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 1. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Skylar James Stotz made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 22. Stotz is being held without bond.
• Joseph Dean Ashby made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Jeff Hazen will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Jayden Lawrence Cowan made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. July 26. Bond is set at $350 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Tanner Scott Eygabroad made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and an obstruction of emergency communications charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 in Magistrate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Cole William Bresnahan made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Bresnahan pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50.
• Brittney May Eide made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 1.
• Manuel A. Montelongo Herrara made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Montelongo Herrara pleaded guilty and the fine is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $215.25.
• Jill Marie Guzman made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Guzman pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Heather Rose Robb made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 31 in Magistrate Court.
• Jason Allen Smith made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. Smith pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the speeding charge is 30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $66 in court costs for a total of $89.50. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
