• Gustavo Adolfo Nava made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11 a.m. on Aug. 23. Nava is being held without bond.
• Carlos Mendoza made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Amy Marie Debassige made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Aug. 21. Bond is set at $4,000 cash.
• Ktwo Esa made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked and the bond is set at $50,000 cash in defendant’s name only.
• Estela Garcia Cardiel made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge and a rabies vaccination violation charge. Garcia Cardiel pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine for both charges is $210 with a $31.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $301.50.

• On Wednesday, July 17, Gustavo Nava, 29, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and a violation of probation.
• On Wednesday, July 17, Juan Gonzalez Jr., 33, was arrested on a warrant charging him with driving while barred-habitual offender and criminal mischief-fourth degree.
