• Alex Ray Floyd made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Joel Fenton is appointed as counsel. Pre-trial release is revoked. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.
• Derek Ray Edwards made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Edwards is being held without bond. Edwards pleaded guilty to the drug paraphernalia charge and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Micheal Don Howard made an initial appearance on two counts of a theft-fifth degree charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 in Magistrate Court.
• Skyler Lee Short made an initial appearance on two counts of a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, an interference with official acts charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a violation of probation charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel on all charges. The preliminary hearing for the new charges is aet for 9:30 a.m. on July 12. Bond on the interference charge, drug paraphernalia charge and one marijuana charge is set at $1,300 cash or surety. The fine on the second marijuana charge is $2,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Short is being held without bond on this charge.
• Mitchell Graw O’Hare made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and a public intoxication charge. Jessica Maffitt is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 24 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Jerry Allen Cripps made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23.
• Harley Dean Ferch made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 17 in Magistrate Court.
• Patricia Vargas made an initial appearance on a truancy charge. Vargas pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $15 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $175.
• Mariah Maria Martinez Alvarado made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 in Magistrate Court.
