• Tia Michelle Clark made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference in advance of a jury trail charge. The pre-trial conference will be rescheduled by District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only in defendant’s name only.

• Melodie Sue Whitmore made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Jesse Alexander Garcia Medel made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Bud Wade Nutt made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Alan Gutierrez Cantu made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Gutierrez Cantu pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Ramon Alberto Santos De La Cruz failed to make an appearance on an assault-general charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $82 in court costs for a total of $202.75.
