• Owen Lyn Collins made an initial appearance on an eluding charge, a careless driving charge, three counts of a speeding charge and five counts of a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 19. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only in defendant’s name.

• Aaron Everett Gruver made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge, a driving while revoked charge, a violations of conditions of a restricted license charge and a failure to maintain control charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 19. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Joseph Levi Richards made an initial appearance on a providing false identification information charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Jovani M. Butler made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 19. Butler is being held without bond.

• James David Matias Pablo made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Angela marie Hutches made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Amador Guevara made an initial appearance on an open container charge, a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Shane Michael Wallander made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a failure to use seat belts charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 4 in Magistrate Court for the driving under suspension charge. The fine on the seat belt charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.
