• Francisco Gabriel Barajas Manzo made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Barajas Manzo is being held without bond.
• Joshua David Hoglan made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Joshua Wayne Crowe made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 18. Crowe is being held without bond.
• Douglas patrick Duscher made an initial appearance on a possession-carrying weapons while under the influence charge, an open container charge and an improper use of lanes charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 3.
• Carlos Mendoza made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Alex Kyle Hanson made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jessica Maffitt is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Magistrate Court.
• Wayne Eugene Warnell made an initial appearance on a stalking charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 23. Warnell will hire his own counsel. The bond is set for $10,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Jerome Marquez Lang made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Lang is being held without bond.
• Samantha Jo Schilling made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25. A pre-trial conference is set for the driving under suspension charge for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28 in Magistrate Court.
