• Daniel Ceballos Garcia made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-marijuana-first offense, burglary-first degree, two counts of domestic abuse assault-first offense and two counts of assault. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29. Bond on the marijuana charge is $1,000 cash or surety and bond on the rest of the charges is $25,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Kirk Priest Matlock made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29. Matlock is being held without bond.

• Andrew Peter Stineman made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge, a public intoxication charge and a disorderly conduct charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Ryan Arthur Widger made an initial appearance on a theft charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel on the theft charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel on the contempt charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Teagan James Danner made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6.

• Brandon Gallardo made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a possession of a controlled substance charge, a possession of cannabidiol-first offense charge, a possession/purchase of alcohol by person 18/19/20-first offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and a failure to obey a flashing red signal charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Cristal Corona made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge, an unsafe backing charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Lake Paul Sulc failed to appear on a dog at large charge and the court found Sulc guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• John Jay Johnston made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Johnston pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Muhawenimana Gilbert made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, an operation without interlock device charge and three counts of a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6.

• Logan William Fehrmann Mercer made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident charge-property damage only and a no insurance-accident charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Magistrate Court.
