• David Allen Catron made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving while barred charge, a failure to maintain control charge and a no insurance charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.
Catron was also seen for failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Sept. 16. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.
• Jerod Allen Farrell made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fourth degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 13. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
• Deshawn Kierre Rowell failed to appear for a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Jason Doyle Tuttle made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 in Magistrate Court.
• Albert Lee Fields made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 in Magistrate Court.
• Rosa Marie Chavarria made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Chavarria pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Angela Edith Venegas made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assure, clear distance charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 in Magistrate Court.
• Maleigha Nichole Roberts made an initial appearance on an assault-fear of immediate contact charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 in Magistrate Court.
• Iraima Barajas Ayard failed to appear on a dog at large charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 3, David Catron, 55, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender and on two warrants.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Thomas Sheets, 38, was arrested on a hold for violation of a no-contant order/contempt of court.
• On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Sean Meyers, 51, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance-second offense.
Accidents
• On Tuesday, Aug. 13, a pickup driven by James Michael Gill, 45, of Albion, was westbound on 190th Street when it struck a deer that ran onto the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Gill pickup was estimated at $5,000.
