• Kendall Michael Strait made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Strait is being held without bond.

• Mitchell Graw O’Hare made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and an operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge. The contempt hearing is set for 11 a.m. on Oct. 23. The preliminary hearing on the OWI charge is 1 p.m. on Oct. 25. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Nolan Durrell Walker made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Walker pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Vanessa Ibarra made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 4. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Kristin Rose Volkens made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in Magistrate Court.

• Shania Rose Kapayou pleaded guilty to a driving under suspension charge. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Jose Enrique Garcia Lopez made an initial appearance on a malicious prosecution charge, a providing false identification information charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 5.

• Victoria Ortiz made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Ortiz pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Eklian Jeelanton made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in Magistrate Court.

• Kimberly Ann Woosley made an initial appearance on an operating a non-registered vehicle charge. Woosley pleaded guilty and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Aliya Marie Kluck made an initial appearance on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge. Kluck pleaded guilty and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Brian Ivan Gregory Sr. made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Gregory pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

Arrests

• On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Kevin Madison Jr., 42, was arrested for operating a non-registered vehicle, violation of restricted license conditions, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, possession of contraband on or in grounds of correctional facility-no weapon and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Mitchell O’Hare, 27, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order and operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Vanessa Ibarra, 20, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Kendall Strait, 31, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Nolan Walker, 38, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.
