• Mir Ahmad Ahmadi made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jessica Maffitt is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 26 in Magistrate Court.
• Devin Kyle Smith made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a failure to use headlamps when required charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 21. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
