• German Avalos Gomez made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge, an assault on persons in certain occupations charge and a interference with official acts charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 6. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Melissa Ann Hallman made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $4,000 cash in defendant’s name only.
• Connor Nicholas Jessen made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of air or blood charge, a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 6. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Annika Lyss Shabaiash Aanenson made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 11 in Magistrate Court.
• Antonio Banderas Jr. made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Banderas pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Joel Hernandez Guido failed to appear on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge and a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty on both charges. The fine on the non-registered vehicle is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Gavin Charles Adam Desautels made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. • On Saturday, May 17, Jose Paez Lopez, 28, ws arrested for no-insurance-no accident, operating while under the influence-first offense and driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.
• On Saturday, May 17, Jed Pothast, 37, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of driving while barred-habitual offender.
• On Saturday, May 17, Alvin Treloar, 46, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense, possession of marijuana-first offense, driving wrong way on a designated one-way street, operating a non-registered vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance-no accident.
