• Carlos Valentin Don Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, an operating without interlock device charge, a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 9.

Don was also seen on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel for both cases.

• Eric Ramon Lasley made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge, an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge and a public intoxication charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Antonio Lizarde made an initial appearance on an attempted murder charge, a robbery-first degree charge, an interference with official acts-injury charge, an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an eluding charge, a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge, eight counts of a failure to obey a traffic control device charge, two counts of a failure to maintain control charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 am. on June 9. Bond is set at $500,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• A 16-year-old female made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Shannon Marie Waltemeyer made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 25 in Magistrate Court.

• Rafael Garcia Sanchez made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Garcia Sanchez pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Ruben Sanchez made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and a dark window/windshield violation charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Austin Leo Bollas made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19.
