• Sara Marie Stainback made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Joel Jesus Pina made an initial appearance on a serious injury by vehicle charge — operating while under the influence, operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a reckless driving charge and a no insurance charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 9. Bond is set at $7,500 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Jayrin Valentine Papakee made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. Then public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 9. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• John Henry Keck failed to appear on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and the court found him guilty, The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Francisco Miguel Aguilera Chavez Jr. made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge, a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge and a no insurance-accident charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Moises Vargas Yepez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only charge, a failure to obey a traffic control device charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a failure to maintain control charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23 in Magistrate Court.
