• Austin Daniel Cox made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Cox is being held without bond.
• Miko Kipp Youngbear made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for a pre-trial conference ahead of a jury trial. Jennifer Weaver remains as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 1 with the jury trial rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Aug. 14. Youngbear is being held without bond.
Youngbear was also seen for a providing false identification information charge. Brian Mercy is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 in Magistrate Court.
• Sandra Lynn Basilius made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Frank Herbert Stowe Calderon Jr. made an initial appearance on an open container charge, an interference with oficial acts charge, a public intoxication charge and a theft-fifth degree charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 30 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $350 cash or surety.
• Wesley Thomas Rebik made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Rebik pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $630.
• Jonah Curtis Seymour made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 29.
• Mirella Avalos Covarrovias made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 in Magistrate Court.
• Cameryn Ivan Valerio made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 in Magistrate Court.
• James Keith Blankenship made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance charge, a cannabidiol-first offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, an interference with official acts charge and an observing traffic laws-bicycle charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Arrests
• On Tuesday, July 8, Wesley Rebik, 50, was arrested for trespass-first offense.
• On Tuesday, July 8, Sandra Basilius, 47, was arrested for conspiring with the intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• On Tuesday, July 8, Gael Garcia, 20, was arrested on a warrant charging him with driving while barred-habitual offender.
• On Tuesday, July 8, Miko Youngbear, 25, was arrested on a warrant charging him with criminal mischief-fourth degree, eluding by exceeding the speed limit by 25 mph or more and providing false identification information.
Accidents
• On Thursday, June 26, a home, recreational vehicle driven by Raymond Michael Neff, of Lisbon, was westbound on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Neff recreational vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
• On Saturday, June 21, an SUV driven by Rachel Elizabeth Haro, 23, of Hiawatha, was eastbound on 240th Street when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Haro SUV was estimated at $4,000.
