• Alyse Morelia Sanchez made an initial appearance on a animal neglect with death charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 31. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Richard Paul Wayne Sindt made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Sindt is being held without bond.

• Derek Alan Wilkins made an initial appearance on an attempted murder/domestic abuse assault charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 21. Bond is set at $25,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Mauricio Gomez Moralez made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Gomez Moralez pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Amber Rochele Mercer made an initial appearance on a burning garbage violation charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 30 in Magistrate Court.

• Aidan Nicholas Grandstaff made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge and a rabies vaccination violation charge. Grandstaff pleaded guilty and the fine is $210 with a $31.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $301.50.

• Dakota Blake Plante made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain or use safety belts-adult charge and a driving undere suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 27 in Magistrate Court.
