• Douglas Michael Kurth made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court.Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Kuothethin Pouk Diew made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference ahead of a jury trial charge. The pre-trial conference and jury trial will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash.
• Ruben Alexis Maldonado Carlo made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a driving under suspension charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Ryan Jason Papakee Jr. made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge and a disorderly conduct charge along with a trespass-first offense charge. Papakee pleaded guilty to all charges. On the public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges the fine is $210 with a $31.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $301.50. The fine on the trespass charge is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $635.
• Christopher Michael Hildreth made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-first offense charge, a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 25. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• A 14-year-old male made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. The juvenile pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Reahna Kaye Sawyer made an initial appearance on a unsafe passing charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 27 in Magistrate Court.
