• Jose Francisco Castro Hernandez made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a leaving the scene of an accident-property damage charge, a failure to maintain control charge and a striking fixtures on a highway charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 18. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Danny Ceniseros made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge and a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 in Magistrate Court.

• Carles Kiyoko Harris made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 18. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• James Garrett Roberts Jr. made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and a public intoxication charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $300 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Codey Ryan Briley made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. Briley pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75.
