• Mark Anthony Cates made an initial appearance on an assault with intent to commit sexual abuse charge and a sexual abuse-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 8. Bond is set at $25,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Brittney Ann Hansen made an initial appearance on an attempted burglary-second degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. Bond is set at $6,500 cash or surety.
• Alexander Wayne Perry made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a contempt hearing charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $600 cash in defendant’s name only.
• Finette Salomon made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 in Magistrate Court.

• A 17-year-old male made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. The juvenile pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
