• Adrian Lavelle McBride made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 12. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Rita Marie Tesar made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Tesar pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $635.

• Breanne Lynn Brummel made an initial appearance on a dog at large within the Laurel City limits charge. Brummel pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75.

• Tony Michael Black, 28, made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Black pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75.
