• Mara Bernice Whitehead made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge and a unauthorized use of a credit card under $1,500 charge. Tyler Haberman is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22.

• Ethan Michael Garrett made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge and a driving under suspension charge. Garrett pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the stop sign violation is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $34.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Gerardo Garcia Martinez made an initial appearance on a vehicle failure to respond to yellow caution signal charge and a driving under suspension charge. Garcia Martinez pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the yellow caution signal violation is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Keianna Renee Davis made an initial appearance on a supplying alcohol to person under legal age charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22.

• Evelyn Natalia Carranza Werner made an initial appearance on a striking fixtures on a highway charge, a leaving the scene of an accident charge, a failure to use seat belt-minor charge and a reckless driving charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 in Magistrate Court.
