• Daniel Brian Perry made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an eluding charge, an open container charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 15. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Malinda Cruz Bautista made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Cruz Bautista is being held without bond. A plea of guilty was entered on the drug paraphernalia charge and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Skyler Austin Wright made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. Stephen Allison is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Wright is being held without bond.
