• Manuel Banderas made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Julia Cutler will continue as counsel. Bond is set at $2,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A new no-contact order will be issued for the protected party.
• Diego Nathanel Murillo made an initial appearance on a failure to report for pre-sentencing investigation charge. The pre-sentencing investigation will be rescheduled. Murillo is being held without bond.
Murillo was also seen on a driving while barred charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel on the driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 25. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond in this case is set at $2,500 cash in defendant’s name only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Moriah Nicole Manecke made an initial appearance on an unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge. Tyler Haberman is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Mason Ryan Roberts made an initial appearance on a fraudulent use of registration charge, a violation of a restricted license charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 29 in Magistrate Court.
• William German Gonzalez Perez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 17 in Magistrate Court.
• Rita Marie Marshall made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Grayson Kenneth Privett made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 10 in Magistrate Court.
• Angel Antonio Hernandez made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Accidents
• On Wednesday, Aug. 13 a car driven by Clair-Eve Renee Leonard, 27, of Collins, was westbound on 295th Street when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Leonard car was estimated at $4,500.
• On Sunday, Aug. 10, a pickup driven by Yazmin Citlali Galvan Estrada, 23, of Fort Dodge, was southbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the median. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Galvan Estrada pickup was estimated at $3,500.
• On Friday, Aug. 8, an SUV driven by Sagar Rao, 37, of Verona, Wis., was westbound on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the median. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rao SUV was estimated at $20,000.
