• Chad Alan Brimeyer made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge.

• Ung Peng made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Peng pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Nicholas Lee Olivares made an initial appearance on an attempted murder charge, two counts of a robbery-first degree charge, a willful injury charge, two counts of assault while participating in a felony charge and a going armed with intent charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. Bond is set at $75,000 cash.
