• Marilyn Louise Finch made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Tremain lavern Orange made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. • Jayde Alan Eugene Stansberry made an initial appearance on 25 counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Stansberry is being held without bond.
• Nge Htway made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a theft-fourth degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Casey Ahlhelm Edwards failed to appear on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Juan Garcia Alfaro made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Garcia Alfaro pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Mackso Romain made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3.
• Selena Ericka Quezada made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. Brian Mercy is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Melissa Hernandez made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 15 in Magistrate Court.
