Arrests

• On Sunday, Oct. 5, Gael Garcia, 20, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Sunday, Oct. 5, Alfredo Aguilera Cisneros, 32, was arrested for striking unattended vehicle, no insurance-accident and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Saturday, Oct. 4, Sergiovalente Ramirez, 29, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Saturday, Oct. 4, Joseph Smith, 21, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Saturday, Oct. 4, Dorothy Hammer, 61, was arrested for theft-fifth degree-shoplifting.

• On Saturday, Oct. 4, Mario Melendez, 49, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Oct. 3, Benjamin Feilmeier, 36, was arrested for criminal mischief-third degree and trespass-second offense.

• On Friday, Oct. 3, Antonio Cortez Valdovinos, 28, was arrested for child endangerment-substantial risk and domestic abuse assault-simple.

Arrests

• On Saturday, Oct. 4, Corey Puls, 33, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense, no insurance-accident, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to yield upon entering through highway.

• On Friday, Oct. 3, Juan Velez, 32, was arrested on a new charge.

• On Friday, Oct. 3, Carl Bartell, 43, was arrested on a warrant charging him with absence from custody.

Oct. 6

• Gael Garcia made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 16. Garcia was also seen on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference ahead of a jury trial charge. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Oct. 31 with the jury trial rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Hunter Shane Smith made an initial appearance on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge, a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 in Magistrate Court.

• Tiburcio Martinez Zuniga made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Martinez Zuniga pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
