• Tyler Joe Birkness made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defenders office was appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2026. Birkness is being held without bond.

• Alejandro Angel Cervantes Ordaz made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2026, in Magistrate Court.

• Bul Chol Barnabas Bul made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Bul pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Matthew Charles Earhart failed to appear on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a failure to maintain control charge and the court found him guilty on both charges. The fine on the possession of drug paraphernalia is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the failure to maintain control is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25.

• Whitney Marilyn Fogarty made an initial appearance on a harassment-third degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2026, in Magistrate Court. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jose Ignacio Alejos made an initial appearance on a possession of cannabidiol-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2026. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Mauricio Ibarra Rodriguez, 35, was arrested for driving while revoked.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Juan Hernandez-Vazquez, 34, was arrested for providing false identification information and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Alec Sanchez, 22, was arrested for harassment-third degree-communicate and domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Ryon Gary, 43, was arrested possession of marijuana-second offense.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Kristopher Gardea, 28, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Dec. 21, Tyler Birkness, 33, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Dec. 20, Mitchell Ruiz, 35, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-second offense.

• On Saturday, Dec. 20, Miriam Chavarria Guevara, 42, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury.

• On Friday, Dec. 19, Trevor Eggers, 29, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Dec. 19, Antonio Villa Magana, 32, was arrested for criminal mischief-fourth degree, assault causing bodily injury or mental illness-no intent and on warrants.

• On Saturday, Dec. 20, Alexander Ellis, 32, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of contempt of court.

• On Saturday, Dec. 20, Zaw David, 57, was arrested on a warrant charging him with contempt of court-violation of a no-contact order, three counts of domestic abuse assault-display or use weapon-first offense, domestic abuse assault-strangulation and two counts of willful injury resulting in bodily injury.
