• Carlos Elias Carrillo made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge, an operating without interlock device charge and a no insurance-accident charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2026.
• Mitchell Ruiz made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2026. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Michael James Walters made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Walters pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25.
• Teresa Ann Allison made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2026, in Magistrate Court.
• Carlos Miguel Gomez Montero made an initial appearance on a dark windows violation charge. Gomez Montero pleaded guilty and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• On Saturday, Dec. 27, Joshua Portales Jr., 21, was arrested for going armed with intent, assault with a dangerous weapon (threatening manner), harassment-first degree-threaten forcible felony, burglary-first degree-possession of explosive or weapon, willful injury-resulting in serious injury, robbery-first degree-inflict or attempt serious injury or armed with a dangerous weapon.
• Juliet Fernandez, 21, was arrested for robbery-first degree-inflict or attempt serious injury or armed with a dangerous weapon.
• Ethan Garrett, 21, was arrested for robbery-first degree-attempt or inflict serious injury or armed with a dangerous weapon.
• Armando Garcia, 28, was arrested for no insurance-no accident and driving while barred-habitual offender.
• Sean Fleming, 47, was arrested on a warrant.
• Jasmeyn Aguilar, 25, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and operating while under the influence-first offense.
