• Zannah Kuwoe Towah made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

Towah was also seen on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a no insurance charge. Vaughn will also represent in this case. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Brady Wayne Carlson made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Carlson is being held without bond.

• Robert Joseph Quinn II made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge and a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. Bond is set at $25,000 cash. Quinn was also seen on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defender is appointed. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Aleta Mae Alberts made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Alberts is being held without bond.

• Justin Patrick Connelly made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-causing bodily injury or mental illness-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 28. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Joseph Brayden Macias made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. bond is set at $1,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Steven Ray Lund made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 28 in Magistrate Court.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 7, Robert Quinn II, 53, was arrested for interference with official acts, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and on a warrant.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 7, Zannah Towah, 22, was arrested for no insurance-no accident, contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order and possession of marijuana-first offense.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 7, Hector Lizarde Garcia, 32, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 7, Kevin Juarez, 18, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense, possession of marijuana-first offense, interference with official acts and burglary-second degree.
