• Alec Sanchez made an initial appearance on a contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jakob Douglas Boriskey made an initial appearance on an assault on persons in certain occupations charge, an interference with official acts charge and a harassment-second degree charge. Patrick Streit was appeared as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 2.

• Hector Lizarde Garcia made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 2.

• Martin Medina Cervantes made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Medina Cervantes pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

Arrests

• On Saturday, Jan. 10, Juan Sanchez Jarquin, 25, was arrested for open container, no insurance-no accident, operating while under the influence-first offense, speeding and no valid driver’s license.

• On Saturday, Jan. 10, Ryan Lindsey, 44, was arrested on a warrant charging him with operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Friday, Jan. 9, Jose Rodriguez Lopez, 32, was arrested on a warrant charging him with three counts of child endangerment, driving while barred-habitual offender and domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury.

• On Friday, Jan. 9, Christopher Hanner, 43, was arrested for assault with intent to cause pain/injury.
