• On Monday, Feb. 9, Kyler Lewis-Welsh, 26, was arrested for harassment-first degree, two counts of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness-no intent and willful injury resulting in bodily injury.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, Feb. 3, an SUV driven by Colin Paul Waters, 37, of Marshalltown, was northbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the west ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Waters SUV was estimated at $10,000.

• On Monday, Feb. 2, an SUV driven by Carlos Albuerne Carballo, 28, of Marshalltown, was southbound on Vine Avenue when it swerved to miss hitting a deer, went into the west ditch and struck a tree. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Albuerne Carballo SUV was estimated at $25,000.
