• Todd Cameron Robinson made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Robinson pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with s $15.75 surcharge, $60 in court costs and $42 in miscellaneous fees for a total of $222.75.

• Kaeden James Feeney made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a failure to maintain control charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 11 in Magistrate Court.

• Ma Thaung made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Victor Manuel Gonzalez Calderon made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a theft-fifth degree charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel for the driving charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 17. Gonzalez Calderon pleaded guilty to the theft charge and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Phillip Thomas Brooks made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense charge. Tyler Haberman is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 6. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Justo Garcia Jr. made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Garcia is being held without bond.

• Salani Kosolo Gibson made an initial appearance on a driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway charge, a leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only charge, a fraudulent use of registration charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a false reporting to a public entity charge. Gibson pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the driving on the wrong side of the highway and leaving the scene of an accident is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge, a $55 in court costs and $35 miscellaneous fees for a total of $245.25 on each charge. The fine on the fraudulent use of registration is $260 with a $39 surcharge, $55 for court costs and $42 miscellaneous fees for a total of $396. The fine on the no insurance-accident is $345 with a $96.75 surcharge, a 455 in court costs and $35 miscellaneous fees for a total of $831.75. The fine on the false reporting charge is $855 with a surcharge of $128.25, $60 in court costs and $35 in miscellaneous fees for a total of $1,078.25.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Victor Gonzalez-Calderon, 46, was arrested for theft-fifth degree and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Salani Gibson, 36, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident-property damage only, fraudulent use of registration, no insurance-accident and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Kevin Madison Jr., 44, was arrested for dog at large.

• On Monday, Feb. 2, a break in and burglary was reported in Rhodes.

Accidents

• On Monday, Feb. 23, a car driven by Daniel Jay Pearcy, 57, of Osceola, was northbound on Reed Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Pearcy car was estimated at $15,000.
