• Robert Anthony Ratliff made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. Esmada Osmic is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Ratliff is being held without bond.

• Jose Fidel Castillo Alvarez made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 11 a.m. on April 8. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Andrew Donald Smith made an initial appearance on a child endangerment-death charge and a neglect or abandonment of a dependent person charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 3. Bond is set at $50,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Amanda Jean Riley made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. The first probation revocation hearing is set for 1:15 p.m. on April 8 and the second is set for 11 a.m. on April 29. Riley is being held without bond on both charges.

• Melanie Anne Holman made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Apri 10. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

• Jesse James Earhart made an initial appearance on an an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 3. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
