• Candace Rahsaan Jones made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Jones is being held without bond.

• Richard Kent Graw made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, a interference with official acts charge and a trespass-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Tayviun Scott Downs made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 22 in Magistrate Court.

• Cody Jose Garcia made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 23. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Jose Rosario Salas made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 21.

• Eduard Steven Saavedra Gomez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 22 in Magistrate Court. Saavedra Gomez pleaded guilty to a speeding charge and the fine is $120 with a $18 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $193.

• A 16-year-old female made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a violation of instruction permit limitation charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 22 in Magistrate Court.

• Sabrina Lynn Pitts made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Pitts pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
