• Nay Lay made an initial appearance on four counts of a child endangerment charge, a domestic abuse assault-display or use of a weapon-first offense charge and a domestic abuse assault-injury or mental illness-first offense charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 22. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• David Lee Butler made an initial appearance on an ongoing criminal conduct charge, two counts of a controlled substance violation charge, a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for the purpose of controlled substance violation charge and a person ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 22. Bond is set at $25,000 cash.

• Ashley Ruth Johnson made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11 a.m. on June 17. Johnson is being held without bond.

• Jason Doyle Tuttle failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
