• Tate Richard Easley made an initial appearance on two counts of an assault on persons in certain occupations charge, a interference with official acts charge, a public intoxication charge and a domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow or air or blood charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 2. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Robert Joseph Quinn II made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge, a failure to affix a drug tax stamp violation charge and a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge. Bond is set at $40,000 cash in defendant’s name only. The jury trial and pre-trial conference remain as scheduled.

Quinn was also seen on new charges of possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a vehicle failing to respond to a steady red light charge. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75.
