Arrests

• On Sunday, May 3, Jacob White, 27, was arrested for child endangerment.

• On Sunday, May 3, Manuel Castillo Jr., 31, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked.

• On Sunday, May 3, Miguel Hernandez Rodriguez, 22, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Sunday, May 3, Douglas Baker, 54, was arrested for theft-first degree, possession of burglar tools, driving while barred-habitual offender, criminal mischief-second degree and burglary-third degree.

• On Saturday, May 2, Naomi Rivera, 18, was arrested for theft-fifth degree-shoplifting, possession/purchase of alcohol by person 18/19/20, possession of marijuana-first offense and on a warrant.

• On Friday, May 1, David Cox, 34, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, May 1, Franklin Gartomah, 18, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon.

• On Sunday, May 3, Douglas Baker, 54, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of burglar tools, driving while barred-habitual offender, criminal mischief-second degree, burglary-third degree and theft-first degree.

• On Friday, May 1, Justin Bormann, 38, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court.

• Douglas Allen Baker made an initial appearance on a theft-first degree charge, a burglary-third degree charge, a criminal mischief-second degree charge, a possession of burglar tools charge and a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 14. Bond is set at $24,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Shainor Maipi made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 10 in Magistrate Court.

• Manuel Castillo Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 22.

• Marcia Lea Wheeler made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge and an assault charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 3 in Magistrate Court.

• Yeison Zuniga Almeida made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge. A plea hearing is set for 12 p.m. on May 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
