• Arnoldo Rodriguez Perez made an initial appearance on a failure to apper for arraignment charge for a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. The arraignment is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on May 22. Bond is set at $2,000 cash. Rodriguez Perez was also seen on an interference with official acts charge and an interference with official acts-bodily injury charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 3 in Magistrate Court on the first count. Bond is set at $300 cash. On the bodily injury interference charge the preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 15. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. Brian Mercy is acting as counsel on all charges. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Rene Martinez Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set at 9 a.m. on May 15 with the jury trial set at 9 a.m. on May 28. Bond is $1,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Troy Joe Good made an initial appearance on an assault-general charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on June 11 in Magistrate Court.
