Bond is set at $2,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Samantha Marie Rix made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Rix is being held without bond.
