• Amado Garza IV made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge, a domestic abuse assault charge, an obstruction of emergency communications charge and a violation of parole charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing for the domestic abuse assault, child endangerment and obstruction charges is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 24. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Garza is being held without bond.

• JB Andre Rockingham made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 24. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Quaid Perry Waggoner made an initial appearance on a fugitive from justice charge from Texas. Tyler Haberman is appointed as counsel. The extradition hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Aug. 5. Waggoner is being held without bond. Waggoner was also seen on a speeding charge. He pleaded guilty to the charge and the fine is $120 with a $18 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $193.

• Bryan Adam Garcia made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 5. Garcia is being held without bond.

• Jose Carmen Orozco Ramirez made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an improper rear lamps charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Connor Bryant made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bryant is being held without bond.

• Salvador Magana made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 5.

• Bryce Loyd Nelson made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence charge. The preliminary hearing is waived. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Ashaiya Lynn Wright made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 24. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Diego Daniel Ramirez Avalos made an initial appearance on a fireworks charge. Ramirez Avalos pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Ada Mirtha Cruz made an initial appearance on a fireworks charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 in Magistrate Court.

• Jorge Corona Banderas made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 29 in Magistrate Court.

• Donald Gene Liger made an initial appearance on a permit dumping solid waste violation charge. Liger pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
