• Shaddare Jammal Watkins made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Watkins is being held without bond.

• Jeremy David Gandy made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a reckless driving charge, a speeding charge and a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 12. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
