• Ashley Renae Nichol made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-injury or mental illness-first offense charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 4. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
