• Steven Tyler Nichol made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11 a.m. on Sept.. 18. Nichol is being held without bond.
• Justin Bradlee Choate made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Choate pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Jackie Lynn Hoop made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-causing injury or mental illness-first offense charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 15. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Zachary Jo McDonald made an initial appearance on a operation without owner's consent charge and a fraudulent use of registration charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 15.
• Lesly Hernandez made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 15. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Tamasha Katimbo made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge. Katimbo pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine is $250 for each charge with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50 for each charge.
• Lissa Rae Duff made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 16 in Magistrate Court.
• Eliazer Lozano Jr. made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a improper lane change charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 15. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
