• Brian Ray Hammer Jr. made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge, a theft-second degree charge, a person under 21 using tobacco or vape products charge and a no valid driver's license charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Rebecca Joan Schmidt made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The fine on the safety belt violation is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Chelsea Anne Kerr made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a failure to maintain or use safety belts charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court for the driving under suspension charge. Kerr pleaded guilty to the safety belt charge and the fine is $70 with a $105.0 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Theresa June Fell failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Peter Tinoco Jr. made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Tinoco pleaded guilty and the fine is $345 with a $51.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $456.75.

• Rodrigo A. Ramirez Velazquez failed to appear on a purchase of alcohol by person 18/19/20-first offense charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $100 with a $15 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $175.

• Robert Francis Eliserio made an initial appearance on a use of electronic communication device charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Hector Enrique Laporte pleaded guilty to an improper rear lamp charge and an unsafe stopping charge. The fine on the improper rear lamp is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50. The fine on the unsafe stopping is $50 with a $7.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $112.50.

• Alexis Marie Delgadillo made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge and a rabies vaccination violation charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Ramon Santos De La Cruz, 37, was arrested for harassment-third degree and criminal mischief-third degree.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Jeremiah James, 44, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Rebecca Schmidt, 49, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Khuang Lin, 48, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Kisha Kutzner, 49, was arrested assault on persons in certain occupations-no injury and theft-third degree-enhanced due to priors.
