Sept. 11

• Mark Chuol Chotkuac made an initial appearance on an escape from custody-felon charge and a interference with official acts charge. The preliminary hearing on the escape charge is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 21. Chotkuac is being held without bond. A guilty plea was entered on the interference charge and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Tina Marie Webber made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference before a jury trial charge. The pre-trial conference and jury trial will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Webber was released on bond.

• Howard Paul Baker made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. a pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Fernando Jose Juan Barboza Velazco made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Garrett Timothy Holst made an initial appearance through counsel on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a no insurance charge and an excessive speed charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 30. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Justin Marvin Reese made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Reese pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Joel Dennis Westendorf made an initial appearance on a child abuse-failure to report charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Brenda Lee Bell made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Bell pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $25.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Noah Dean Thorson made an initial appearance on a excessive speed charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.
