• On Monday, Sept. 15, Jennifer Weaver, 45, was arrested for Simulating public intoxication-first offense.
• On Monday, Sept. 15, Kyaw Oo, 33, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked, failure to maintain a reasonable or proper speed and driving under suspension-no SR 22 on file.
Accidents
• On Friday, Sept. 11, a car driven by David Mutuale, 23, of Cedar Rapids, was eastbound on Highway 30 near Shady Oaks Road when it swerved to miss an animal that entered the roadway and struck the guardrail resulting in damage along the driver's side and deploying the airbags. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mutuale car was estimated at $5,000.
