• Aaron Parrish Scalabrini made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Oct. 21. Scalabrini is being held without bond.
• Kimberly Maria Wilson made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 1. Bond is set at $1,000 cash in defendant's name only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Kashola Romain Muganguzi made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Muganguzi pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Isaac Anthony Tolbert made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge and a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge. Tolbert pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the school bus passing charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the failure to obey the stop sign is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25.
• Josshua Geovanny Oro Nunez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Oro Nunez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. Oro Nunez was also seen on a operation of a non-registered vehicle charge and a no insurance charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the non-registered vehicle is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. The no insurance fine is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75.
• Jill Marie Guzman made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Guzman pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Nancy Ann Vanmetre made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.
• Jennifer Jo Weaver waived an initial appearance on a simulated public intoxication-first offense charge.
• Keeley Sue Weeks made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 in Magistrate Court.
• Garrett Aaron Brown made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge. Brown pleaded guilty and the fine is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25.
• Mason Nathaniel Osburn made an initial appearance on a possession/purchase of alcohol by person 18/19/20 – first offense charge. Osburn pleaded guilty and the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354.

• On Sunday, Sept. 20, Ovigo Valeus, 47, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.
• On Sunday, Sept. 20, Aaron Scalabrini, 56, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
• On Saturday, Sept. 19, Jay Bear Jr., 31, was arrested for possession of a firearm/offensive weapon by a domestic abuse offender, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, failure to maintain control, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, open container, no insurance-accident and operating while under the influence-first offense.
